Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, subscriptions, digital products and Bay7 Editor Pro purchases are handled on Bay7 Sounds.
1. Digital Products
Most products sold on Bay7 Sounds are digital products, including beats, sound kits, samples, presets, templates, audio files and other downloadable creative resources.
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are generally final once the product has been delivered, downloaded, accessed or made available.
Refunds are generally not provided simply because:
- You changed your mind
- You no longer need the product
- You purchased the wrong item by mistake
- You expected a different creative outcome
- You did not read the product description or license terms before purchase
2. Bay7 Editor Pro Subscriptions
Bay7 Editor Pro may be offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring payments according to the billing cycle selected at checkout.
Subscription payments are processed through Shopify or another authorized payment provider. Bay7 Sounds does not directly store full payment card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless they are cancelled before the next renewal date. The subscription price, billing cycle and included features are shown at checkout or on the relevant product page.
3. Subscription Cancellations
You may request cancellation of your subscription to prevent future renewals. Cancellation requests must be submitted through our Billing Support page or by contacting us using the email address connected to your Bay7 account.
After cancellation, your paid access may remain active until the end of the current paid billing period. Once the paid period ends, your account may be downgraded to the free plan.
Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals, but it does not automatically refund payments already completed for the current billing period.
4. Credits and Usage-Based Features
Bay7 Editor Pro may include monthly credits or usage limits, such as mastering credits, Vocal Remover minutes, cloud storage limits, project limits or other usage-based features.
Used credits, completed processing jobs and consumed Vocal Remover minutes are generally not refundable.
If a technical issue on our side causes credits or minutes to be consumed incorrectly, we may restore the affected credits or minutes instead of issuing a monetary refund.
5. Extra Storage
Extra cloud storage may be offered as an add-on purchase. Extra storage purchases are generally final once activated on the account.
Extra storage does not automatically change the subscription plan, included monthly credits or other plan features unless clearly stated.
6. Exceptions
Refunds may be considered in the following cases:
- You were charged more than once for the same order
- The product was not delivered correctly
- A downloadable file is corrupted and cannot be replaced
- A verified technical issue occurred on our side
- An incorrect charge was made due to a billing or system error
In these situations, we will first attempt to resolve the issue, replace the file, restore credits or correct the account. If the issue cannot be resolved, a refund may be considered.
7. Custom Services
Custom services, including custom beats, mixing, mastering, editing, recording, audio repair, consulting or other personalized creative services, are generally not refundable once work has started.
If a custom service is cancelled before work has started, a partial or full refund may be considered depending on the situation.
8. Refund Requests
If you believe you qualify for a refund, please contact us within a reasonable time after purchase and include your order number, account email and a clear explanation of the issue.
9. Processing Time
If approved, refunds will be processed through the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times depend on the payment provider, bank or card issuer.
10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first, we reserve the right to:
- Suspend access to purchased products, subscriptions or account features
- Block future purchases or account access
- Provide proof of delivery, account activation, subscription agreement and usage
- Recover costs or losses where permitted by law
11. No General Right of Return
Bay7 Sounds is based in Switzerland. Under Swiss law, there is generally no automatic right of return or withdrawal for online purchases unless the seller voluntarily offers one or mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
For customers in other countries, mandatory consumer protection rights may apply where required by law.
12. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised update date.
